LanCloud Ranks 5th Among the Best Enterprise IaaS Providers

CNews.Market has published a ranking of cloud IaaS providers for corporate customers based on the results of 2020.
The comparative categories included the capabilities of infrastructure providers, as well as the quality and number of their services. The main task of the ranking is to help customers understand which company offers the highest-quality services on the most favorable terms.
To determine the leader in this field, several criteria were established, including:
- Availability of certification.
- Data center parameters.
- Provision of additional services.
- Number of employees in the IaaS division.
- Availability level.
- Cost.
Each criterion was evaluated using a predefined scoring scale. The total score was then calculated, forming the basis for ranking the participants.
Cloud provider LanCloud took 5th place in the ranking of the best Enterprise-level IaaS providers. LanCloud's cloud infrastructure is hosted in the most reliable data centers in Kazakhstan, which have passed full certification TIER-III Design, Facility. LanCloud offers customers virtual infrastructure based on Microsoft Hyper-V and since 2021. as well based on Vmware, covering all the basic needs of Enterprise customers.

IaaS Enterprise is a ranking created to compile expert and editorial insights from IT industry specialists in order to prepare a comprehensive review.The collected data made it possible to create the so-called CNews target chart, which helps assess decision-making. The offerings positioned closest to the center are the most balanced and accessible. If there is a noticeable shift in any area, it indicates a weakness in the service provided by the respective company.
Criteria an IaaS Provider Must Meet
During the ranking process, an in-depth analysis of criteria was conducted, resulting in an independent expert opinion on what customers should consider when selecting a provider:- The list of data centers on which the company hosts its services. This is where the customer’s cloud will be located. To guarantee redundancy — the key criterion — it is recommended to choose companies that own at least two data centers. This is important because a single DC cannot provide full redundancy.
- The reliability level of the data centers. Stated claims are less important than the presence of certifications — they serve as the actual proof. This applies not only to project documentation but also to implementation and operational standards throughout the entire lifecycle.
- The company’s staffing. Knowing this helps customers understand how long it may take to receive specialist support and how thoroughly each request can be handled.
- Pricing policy. An important criterion as well. During the ranking, pricing for two configurations with different performance levels was compared.
